CoTeachers

It's time for all teachers to find a co-teacher. All classes are required to have a CoTeacher, even if they are only a stand-by in case the primary teacher is absent.

Before finding a co-teacher please look over the class schedule to know if you’re teaching that period or if you’re already a co-teacher.

You may, of course, post on our page that your class needs a co-teacher. Or post on the co-op page/ message the individual teaching the class you’d like to help with.

Primary Teachers: Be sure to message Brandie Waldrop, or email (homescholarsoftheupstate@gmail.com) with whom your co-teacher is. We’ll need this information by August 1, 2017.

The CoTeacher position varies depending on the class. They may just be the substitute in case the primary teacher is unable to arrive. They may split the class with the primary teacher in any number of ways. The Primary Teacher teaches 5 weeks straight, the CoTeacher teaches 5 straight. The two may alternate weeks. They may co-teach during the same period. However you'd like to teach your class.

However every class needs a Coteacher, if only for the ‘substitute’ position.
